Christ as the greater Solomon

Gerhard composes a lovely typology from 1 Kings 10:6-8:

Then every blessed person will say to Christ, the heavenly Solomon (1 Kings 10:6–8): “The report is true which I heard in my land” (in my pilgrimage) “of Your affairs and of Your wisdom, but I did not believe” (fully and perfectly) “until I came and saw with my own eyes and proved that the half of it was not told to me. Your wisdom and prosperity surpass the report which I heard. Happy are these, Your servants, who continually stand before You and hear Your wisdom” (On Eternal Life, § 166).
